Death & Decay

Don't you just hate when you search the internet for pictures of dead girls and find only models who have been edited so as to resemble the undead? How many times has this happened to you?
And there are so few good paintings!
Gabriel Von Max's "The Anatomist" and also "Ophelia" by Sir John Everett Millais are pretty good. Although Ophelia is just about to die and not really dead.
Then again these are not really that dreadful. Of course I want to see the beautiful body unharmed but without beauty in the surroundings even a dead girl's beauty fades. I want to see a dead garden and withered plants with a dread loneliness and sorrow hovering about. With a good search you may find some beautiful pictures of death and decay but they are rare.
Thus I suddenly had the idea of creating that art that I lack myself. However, I don't think that highly of my skill with the paintbrush. I might manage to put some necrophilia into poetry but I'd feel rather constricted not being able to show it and having to have you listen.
Photography? I could try... Maybe I'd be able to find a willing model to act out the beautiful scenes in my head. Maybe some make-up could be used to make her pale and lifeless.
Yet I see that so many have tried that and they have failed to create beauty.
How should I go about it?
Decisions, decisions...
Well, we shall see.
And do not think it's weird.
It's just a still life painting, is it not?^^
