In any game, in life, in development in general there is a phase, which can be called the end game, which comes after the pre-, early and mid game respectively. Actually I'd like to go over all these phases at some point in time, for I think an analysis on a topic as interesting as this, for it covers the very essence of one's viewpoint and angle of approach, is key to understanding the foundations behind one's reasoning and foretelling possible actions one might take. But maybe I'll just let you think your own thoughts on that - or not... I mean you still can, but I still have four posts after this one to talk about these.
The endgame - where many are tired, where the outcome is almost certain, where interest is lost, guard let down, mind closed, things forgot. If dealing with something opposing as with an opponent in a game of chess or a rival or just someone who one doesn't like this is the time to be the most cautious. Everything still depends on the system, but commonly now's the time for some last effort and recklessness after what a quick disappearance saves from your anger. If dealing with friends or other positively aligned entities now comes the point where everything has calmed down and one can be sure nothing unexpected will turn up... really? Well be careful you don't rely on that too much.. one must keep an open mind to reduce the change of finding oneself in a situation where someone will get hurt, be it mentally or physically. There are so many thoughts on that topic that cross my mind...
I'll just let it be as it is for now.
The chainsaw is a pest. It is a furiously loud, malevolently stinking and violent instrument of... music and massacre?
It is also commonly used to fell trees and cut them. As it appears I am now a chainsaw murderer of some sort, for I've taken into the extreme an old habit of mine... spider killing that is. I must admit I felt a bit satisfied doing so, killing something via violent means... but at that point I might already been under the influence of petrol fumes. Moreover, it was just a spider so there is nothing much to it, is there? Besides the dexterity that is needed to strike a fast spider.
