How often do we use adjectives used to describe light for describing people also? Bright, warm, dark, cold, shining, lackluster, rich, deep... there are some. I wonder what a lambent person is like. Is he or she ever-changing as are the reflections on a disturbed surface of a pond? Is he or she difficult to look at because of that vibrating personality? Are the people who are difficult to figure out lambent maybe? What about "flashing" or "radiant"?...
I wonder what I could be described with...
Once upon a time there was a pretty girl who lived in a big house. Every evening she'd drink a cup of tea and sing a song before she'd go to bed. Then she'd say: "What a delight, it is night" and gently fall asleep, seeing wondrous things in her dreams.
One day the pretty girl was walking down the street and she spotted a cat in the alley. "Mr. Kitty,"she said, "will you step into the light for me to be seen?" Without a reply the cat did so. "Pretty kitty!" the girl did shout then and the cat followed her home.
That night the pretty girl held her teacup with the pretty cat in her lap whom she'd clad with cat-clothes for the party. It was a tea party notwithstanding the cat in the white shirt did not drink tea. The cat just sat in the pretty girls lap licking his cat-thumb. After tea the pretty girl sang a pretty song for the pretty cat: "Pretty cat, pretty cat." Then she said: "What a delight I found Mr. Cat" and they both fell asleep, seeing wondrous things in their dreams.
The next day the cat and the girl played cheerfully in the garden. Only after Mr. Cat's unexpected sudden death did they stop playing - so cheerful were they. That evening they had a tea party again and the pretty girl sang a lament for the late Mr. Cat before they went to bed. She then said:"What a delight I have my own necrotic cat" and fell asleep, seeing wondrous things in her dreams...
...For Mr. Cat...
