Fascination is the key to great power & Intimidation is the sign of a brave coward

There are a dozen ways to success in any field of expertise and in any of these you can excel at with various combinations of skills or dowry. A good memory will help you remember all the vital details, a knack for quick decision making always keeps you a step ahead, analytical thinking gives you the best of all possible results and willpower keeps you going if situations get dire. But the one value that exceeds all these values and the ones I did not mention is fascination. Being enthusiastic about and developing interest for something is probably the best way to go for many reasons. Firstly it will lead to improved memory capacity and effective use of remembered details. Secondly it will make you want to increase your knowledge-base regarding that field as effectively as it will provide you the necessary experience, which is my third point. There are other reasons and also many other viewpoints to this whole theory. But my main point is not the importance of fascination, which we all know already, but the ability to call it forth when needed.
Can you invoke your interest by mere willpower?
